Are roaming charges on mobile ‘phones greatly reduced from today?
If so who is reducing them indefinitely? I have heard on the News 3 times today that this is happening. The way that it was put over this was happening and that was that. I am needing a new ‘phone and before deciding if to stay with Virgin I phoned them but they say they have no plans to reduce and I also contacted Vodaone who have been advertising texts to/from Europe all summer for 10p but they say costs are only being reduced for the 3 months as advertised. Can anyone explain what is exactly happening? Thank you.
To – From the horse’s mouth. Thanks for your reply but that is what I don’t understand – from media coverage thought this was definite EC Ruling that’s both Virgin an Vodafone not carrying this out.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Well they’ve reduced the costs of texting in europe see link.
Edit: from what I gather from the EU rules
(http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/activities/roaming/regulation/archives/current_rules/index_en.htm)
these are the capped prices, whilst companies may offer lower prices they may not exceed them, as to vodaphone and virgin they are not exempt, personally I’d switch networks.

AND PERSON WHO ATTEND the call told me that u have to do massage for a female and u also have to satisfied her physically and she will give u money.
I still cant believed on the sentence wht he told me. he also told me that these are those girl and women whose husband are mostly leaving out of home due to their buisnass etc. and some are working in big N.G.O. and call center and are alone and they need sex, some are divorced .

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
It is fact mail pros are called GIGOLLOS. There was a english film by that name where subject was dealt with resonable restrain.
There are male bars where males strip in front of female audience .Roles reversed
A societal magazine had done an extensive survey on the subject in Mumbai, and mentioned the visual indication employed by gigollos for customer hunting and how the notes are exchanged by propective customer and rates.
In india if ther is a sexual harassment of females which finds mention with lip whacking details , there is reverse exploitation of poor females
but this is evident in uber rich areas.

I need to unlock my new blackberry curve, and recently heard that you could unlock it via an individual code on the interent?
Do you know any sites, and do you know how you unlock it on your mobile?
Thankyou in Advance.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Actually, I own an Unlocking Company. Blackberry Curves can be unlocked for only $10.00 and the Unlock Codes come within 15 minutes as long as your Blackberry Curve is on AT&T/Cingular USA or T-Mobile USA. If not, don’t worry we still have a solution for a couple more dollars. Cindy asks…
For those who has worked or are still working for Google Adsense:?
I’m thinkin of setting up about 5-6 blogs and sites, each on totally different themes and topics. So my question is that can I merge all those blogs and sites in one single adsense account and still get the relevant ads for each of them according to their themes and topics. Like say I have one blog or site that is about mobile phones and another about travelling and still another about games and sports. Can I get the relevant ads for each of those blogs or sites from a single Adsense account.
Oops! I forget to ask- Can i have multiple blogs and sites in one single adsense account. I haven’t worked for adsense so far and they say that Google allows only one Adsense account per IP address. So what if I wanted to have a number of blogs and sites. Is it allowed to have multiple blogs and sites in one single Adsense account?
Please anyone working for Adsense help me, I’m totally new for all this. Where can I find all the info about Adsense.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Yes, you can use the same AdSense account for each of them, and they’ll all show ads relevant to their own topic.
You can have as many blogs/sites in a single account as you’d like. However, you cannot open a second AdSense account (though there’s no legit reason to).
Be aware that just building 5-6 quick blogs isn’t going to make much. You need to be able to invest some time into each one, and give it 6-12 months to develop an audience before you start making much money. Do you really have time to put into 5-6 blogs? Or would you be better off with just 1-3 blogs?
One blog that you work hard at for a year will make a LOT more than 6 blogs that you half-ass.

In a quiet vein just means quietly, with little fanfare.
Buy into can sometimes mean to agree with, but in this case it just means to purchase.

Is anyone able to help me? Why did my answer get “rejected”? Which rule have I broken?
THE QUESTION:-
Is it ‘dangerous’ for countries to protect their own economies? Should government seek to protect their own economies and workers at this time? Or will this just worsen the downturn?
THE (REJECTED) ANSWER:-
COMMENT: I am in favour of “protectionism”. We need to protect our own economies; it’s not going to be done by anyone else.
The sham that is “globalisation” is unravelling faster than a 2nd-hand jumper, and we need to protect our own interests.
Some may argue that this could be unfair on other people, but how many other countries would risk their own economy in an effort to save ours? “Not many” is the truth.
I would like to urge people to buy British, except we don’t make anything any more.
COMMENT STATUS:Rejected
THE RULES:-
Keep your contributions civil, tasteful and relevant. Please:
No defamatory comments. A defamatory comment is one that is capable of damaging the reputation of a person or organisation. If successfully sued you could be held liable for considerable damages and costs.
Avoid contempt of court which means not posting anything that risks prejudicing on-going or forthcoming court proceedings.
Do not incite people to commit any crime, including incitement of racial hatred.
Avoid breaking a court injunction (for example, naming an individual or speculating as to their current whereabouts after a court has issued an injunction against doing so).
Do not post content which you’ve copied from someone else and don’t own the copyright.
Do not post messages that are unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, homophobic or racially offensive.
Do not make multiple postings. So that we can publish comments from as many different people as possible, participants should keep their number of contributions per debate to a reasonable level. Multiple posts from one individual, or small number of individuals, discourages many others who might otherwise wish to take part.

Please help business?
CASE STUDY
Simon & Sarah Drummond are qualified accountants, having completed their TAFE studies some years previously. In 2001, they commenced their own business “Books on the Run Pty Ltd” – a mobile accounting service operating in the North Eastern suburbs. Books on the Run advertise for a junior accountant to join the firm. Having recently gained your qualifications, you apply for & are successful in gaining the position (they are particularly impressed with thw fact that you have studies Legal Decision!).
1.During your 1st week of work you learn that Sarah is eager to impart her accounting knowledge to students Australia wide & she tells you that she has begun to write an accounting text book entitled “Figure it Out!” & is unsure as to how she would protect the Copyright. However, you also learn that although Sarah is enthusiastic to complete the text in the next 6 months, she has been pushed for time. As a result, she has been referring to an accounting text by another author (J M Hardy) & “just copying some of that”. Additionally, Sarah mentions that an ex-employee had written the 1st chapter of the book over which he was claiming copyright which she did not think he had a right to do.
2.Time passes & your probationary period at Books on the Run expires; you become a full time permanent employee. Simon Drummond, thinks it would be a good idea for you to have your own business cards, especially as you will be involved in a number of promotional events on behalf of the business in the next few months.
After you approve a proof of the anticipated card, the printer makes up the order & delivers the business cards that afternoon in addition to an invoice in the amount of $250.00. Unfortunately, when you open the box, you find that the cards have been water damaged & consequently the ink has run on the majority of them.
Simon immediately complains to the printer & refuses to pay the $250.00. He also demands that all the cards be replaced free of charge as they are not fit for the purpose.
3.The next day you arrive at the office to find Simon & Sarah in a state of panic – they have received a Court summons. On closer inspection you note they are infact being sued for a second hand car which they purchased from Sals Secondhand Autos a few months previously. It appears that the plaintiff on the summons, claims to be rightful owner (not Sarah & Simon) as Sal the motor dealer, was not authorized to sell the vehicle to them for a mount he did.
4.A few weeks afterwards, Simon decides to buy 2 new laptop computers from “Compugig” alarge retailer after he sees a special deal adverised in their latest catalogue (NEC laptops for just $1,199.00). He immediately rushes to Compugig only to be told by the sales assistant that they have “run out” of the “specials” but do have a more expensive model which would suitnthe needs of Books on the Run. Simon later hears from a reliable source that Compugig knew it had insufficient supplies to meet consumer demand.
5.You are about to finish work for the week & whilst you are getting ready to go home, you overhear Sarah talking in her office to Peter Bennets from “Accouting Plus” (a competitor of Books on the Run).
Sarah & Peter agree that as they have market share of the provision of mobile accounting services in the North Eastern suburbs they will increase their prices to $180.00 per hour. You notice subsequently that this does in fact happen.
6.On the Monday morning, Simon tells you that approximately 6 months ago, Books on the Run took a bad debtor, Fred Slack, to court to obtain $5,000.00 in unpaid debts for the provision of accounting services. Eventhough a final court oder was obtained against Fred, the $5,000.00 remains outstanding. Simon wishes to take matters further.
Instroductions:
Produce a formal report (using Harvard system of referencing) advising Sarah & Simon on the above scenarios. In particular you should focus on:
-The area(s) of law which you need to discuss;
-Legal principles & cases in support of those pinciples which you discuss;
-The likely outcome on each scenario;
-Address any possible breaches of the law (common & statute);
-Remedies (if applicable)
If the assessor believes you have not addressed all necessary criteria, you will be asked to rewrite the report. Retain your report on disk.

What exactly is Mobile Text Message Marketing?
I have been doing business for a few years now and have struggled to find ways to get customers to do business with me. I tried all of the traditional forms of advertising, but the results were poor. I heard about text message marketing and it sounds like I could really benefit from it, but I have no way of knowing how to implement it or where to start. Any suggestions? – Wilson, NC Business owner.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Mobile Text message marketing is a super incredible way, and might I add, the very best way to market your products and services. It allows you to remain in contact with your customers by sending short advertisements directly to their cellphone. Everybody and their momma has a cellphone, even young kids these days, so no other form of advertising beats it. The tradition forms of advertising have become weak and or obsolete in some areas. As a matter of fact, there is an online based company located right there in North Carolina called Total Mobile Contact. Visit their website. They have an array of videos that explain everything to you and the cost is very inexpensive.

Jemima asks…
how would you feel if advertisements were targeted at your personal profile?
You are on the road and need to call home. Just as you pass a Pizza Hut, you open your cell phone to make a call. What are the first words you hear? “The Best Pizza Under One Roof.” This scenario may seem a little futuristic, but today’s technology makes it possible to deliver targeted advertising in all sorts of new ways. WindWire and DoubleClick, for example, both have wireless marketing and advertising networks that deliver targeted advertisements, coupons, and promotions to leading wireless Internet devices, including cell phones, personal mobile devices, and two-way pagers. In one study of cell phone users, participants were given free text-messaging capabilities in return for the more than 100,000 targeted advertising messages. More than 60 percent of the participants liked receiving targeted advertisements, and 20 percent asked for more information after viewing the advertising message. Will American users willingly accept wireless advertisements sent to them over cell phones and other mobile devices? What inducements might convince someone to accept the messages? Would you accept the advertising in return for a free service? How would you feel if the advertisements were targeted at your personal profile? Would this make a difference in your willingness to accept the advertisements?
Please respond to this discussion with a response of 200-300 words and reply to a classmate with 50-100 words.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
My answer will be short but you can expound on it. I would feel somewhat violated like my personal space had been invaded and it would piss me off. I too can foresee just such a future and expect that such personal advertisements will become acceptable. As for me, I think we have enough ads in our lives: billboards, in theaters, in magazines and books and even in catalogs. We are inundated with ads and personally I’m sick of it.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
I learned yesterday (in Yahoo Answers) about Foxit PDF Reader. It is better and faster than Adobe Reader, and you can download it for free!
I checked it out at CNet.com, great site filled with technology reviews. Based on CNet’s review I’m removing Adobe Reader and going with Foxit!
CNet’s editors give Foxit PDF Reader 4 out 5 stars. Here’s what they said:
“To put it gently, Adobe Reader is a real pain in the hindquarters.
“It’s monstrously large, slow to load, and includes many features most users will hardly ever need. Foxit PDF Reader 2.0 omits these widgets and throws in some neat features, such as annotation tools, while still allowing you to read PDF documents.
“The interface mimics Adobe’s, so you won’t have to change your reading habits. In our test, the text readability wasn’t much inferior to Acrobat’s. The 1.6MB program starts surprisingly fast compared to Acrobat. You might need to fiddle a bit to get it to work with your Internet browser, but you can find help on Foxit’s support forums. It’s a nice touch that it opens PDFs from the Internet in their own Foxit window, instead of sucking resources from within the browser.
“Foxit’s biggest flaw in the old version was hogging memory and that has been corrected. We did find it incredibly irritating that URL hyperlinks were unclickable, and that some features were secretly blocked in the evaluation copy.”
This site has the review and you can download the software there: http://www.download.com/Foxit-PDF-Reader/3000-2079_4-10313206.html?cdlPid=10835427

when ever a web site needs to use adobe reader, for me to view something i get kicked off line. i use reader 7.0. if i pull the reader up first then open the link at the web site that needs a reader it works.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Try something else. Foxit Reader is a small, very fast PDF reader that works under all conditions, including viewing web pages. It takes up a tiny percentage of the space Adobe reader does, and works twice as fast. Give it a try, and then you’ll want to go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Adobe!

Adobe reader??
how do i click using adobe reader?

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Not sure what u mean. If you need to highlight a part of a text – there are some buttons in the tool bar where u can change your cursor. – from hand to the arrow or a line. The hand cursor cant highlight – you have to change it to the arrow or the line cursor to highlight and copy. If copy doesnt work, highlight use control plus c to copy.
Hope this helps

I need to sell my mobile home but it might need a new furnace. Any suggestions on how to word the ad?
Service One told me last winter they were red tagging it because the heating elements were damaged. They did not, however, suggest I move immediately, like the local gas company would have, so that’s why I’m wondering if there even IS a problem, so want to at least forwarn potential buyers.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Service One rep might have been wrong. (for various reasons)
Here’s what to do: fire up the furnace. I know it’s already warm, but give it a shot. Does the heat come on? Crank up the thermostat beyond the current temperature. Then… Run it for 10 minutes.
There, see. Either you have a problem you can fix or pass on in your ad…. OR you don’t.
If you don’t have a furnace problem, it’s better to not mention it and keep things a little less complicated for your sale.
If it needs repair… This is a fairly good time to take care of it. And, then… It will be fixed and not complicate your sale.
By advertising that there is a key issue that may need to be fixed, you place an ambiguous hassle to your potential buyers. Most will look to the neighboring ad and select what they think is a hassle free purchase.
Good luck.

Is it the same to have one mobile heater on full blast ad to have two separate ones on the lowest settings?

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
I am not quite sure what your question is, are you trying to save money? Or trying not to trip out a circuit breaker?
All electric heaters are rated in watts, basically the higher the wattage the more heat they will give out.
A simple formula is volts x amps = watts
here is an example of that formula.
120 volts , a circuit breaker rated at 20 amps will supply a heater rated to a maximum of 2400 watts.
If you are seeking economy this is what you could do, plug in a mobile heater and turn it on full blast, go to your electric meter and watch the dial turn, you could time the dial over a two minute period, see how many revolutions it turned.
Go back and switch off the heater and plug in the two heaters, now over a two minute period see how many times the dial turns.
The more the dial turns, the more electricity you are using, I know that sounds obvious, but many people do not understand the principles.
Hope this information was of benefit to you.

Steve asks…
why do the mobile company entertain such fake advertise?
jobless people go for such advertisement and then they find themselves with 0 income

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
When you say “mobile company” what are you talking about?
If you are talking about “work at home job” ads on the Internet, they are pretty much all scams. But if you read them very carefully, they generally don’t really promise what they appear to if you just read them casually.

Is it illegal to for advertisiers to send advertising SMS messages to mobiles?
I have recently started receiving SMS advertising messages on my mobile. I am sure i have been told several time that it is actually illegal for companies to do this. Can anyone give me more information on this and if it is legal for them to do then then tell me how to stop them from sending me these messages.
Thanks,
Peter

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
It isn’t illegal if you have giving your consent.
You may have give your Number to a company online or filled out a servay or something, if you have then it isnt illegal

Thomas asks…
Where can i find one of those places that put a sticker on my car to advertise their company (mobile bilboard)?
Im trying to make some extra money and I have been researching these companies. I hear that you can make up to $3500 a month based on the size of the sticker, where you live, and how many miles you drive a day. I know these sticker things are real, I just dont know which ones i can trust… So far I have found this company called “paid to ride”(paidtoride.com) and (cashtoride.com). If you know anything about these companies can you please let me know. Also if you know of any other companies that are legit I would love to hear about them. I live in Washington, so if it is a buisiness in the washington area that would be great! But if they arn’t in washington they might have a seperate company around the area so I would still love to hear it! Thanks for everything!

How can 3 mobile do this to me?
I had a boarder at my house five years back for few months. He had bought a mobile phone from 3 mobile and after few months lost it. He left the country and after year or two there were several letters addressed to my previous lodger and I sent those back marking “Return to sender. Addressee no longer in UK”.
Recently I advertised my house for sale and my solicitor informed me that Hutchinson Ltd (3 mobile company) had filed a covenant restricting the sale. What can I do? Is it legal to file covenants blocking others properties.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Shouldn’t your solicitor be able to inform you what to do?
All you should need to do is prove that it wasn’t you who took the contract out with them. A landlord is never responsible for bills and so on belonging to their tenant. You must have some proof that he was only a lodger – even the fact that you would have a different surname from him makes it look likely that he would only be a tenant.
But your solicitor must surely know how you can overturn the covenant.
LOL at the person above – “a covenant is illegal without your permission” – erm, do you even know what a covenant is? It’s basically when someone forbids you from selling property … How would permission come into that? Of course you wouldn’t give permission for someone else to forbid you to sell your own house. Duh.
So in answer to your question, yes, it’s legal to file covenants blocking the sale of properties. However, I have never heard of it being done in a case like this.

Please Please Please help me pick a name?
I’ve recently started a mobile marketing/advertising company.
Think along the lines of those billboard trucks.
It’s not exactly that but a similar concept.
Due to a conflict with another corporation I now need to change my company name. Luckily I’ve just started so it will have little impact on the company image.
I need help!
I wanted to avoid using my name if possible.
Any and all ideas greatly appreciated!

If you are a telecommunications company, how would you market yourselves to universities students?
Your company is a service provider for cable TV, cable internet and mobile phone services. There is already a similar dominant telecommunications company in the university. How would you market and differentiate yourselves from the compeition.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
University students are a good target group for cell phones. I would market it with cheaper phone calls between a student and a preferred group of other students.

Is it legal for Blyk to restrict their service to under 25s?
Is it legal for a UK company to deny services based on age (for example the mobile operator Blyk only provides service to people who join aged 16-24).
Since I’m sure it’s illegal to deny someone a job based on age, how does any company justify such a restiction of service (other than as a marketing tool)?
It’s not that I’m wanting to jon Blyk. I’m just wondering about the legality of restricting a service by age as it could leat to discrimination in other lines of business.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
In the Uk a shopkeeper has the right to deny anyone custom without having to give a reason. As the Blyk company is selling a product they would have the same rights as a shopkeeper. All these people have done is saved themselves the trouble of telling people indiviually who are not in the age bracket of 16-24 that they don’t want our custom. Fine by me, their loss, not ours.

For a cell phone, Is there a company like virgin mobile but without the slang ?
With regards to the way that virgin mobile markets using slang appealing to people who talk in slang etc
Example:
theres catch phrases all over their website and their literature that say things like ‘sugar mama’
and ‘hold on there’
and tons of other slang etc….for people who like this type of service with no contract and good coverage etc. is there ANOTHER similar phone company they can go with? With better or good rates of how much the service will cost and with bonuses and ways to get free minutes or is everyone stuck with Virgin mobile?

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Try at&t’s GoPhone. It’s the same concept as virgin, but it’s at&t. It’s great cuz you get free in-network calling (you can talk to all your friends that have at&t for free!!). They have some cool phones too.

Blondes still “the” standard of beauty in the US?
Now this is kinda business/personal related and just one case and one example (but many more where that came from if you’re curious), but a friend/family from way back now owns his own growing online ad network and I’m a part owner too but mostly do some part-time R&D. One campaign involves ads for a mobile phone product and the ads have many models of different races wearing t-shirts of the brand.
Of the the ads shown to sites trafficked mainly by US-based visitors, the ones with the blonde white/caucasian models have the highest clickthru rates.
The ads are generally on very mainstream, well-trafficked sites so we aren’t just hitting a small niche. Though all his results showed us that our next campaign if the company wants us to hire models to pose in ads for American visitors we should make sure to contact one of the blonde models in the industry.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Not by my standards they are not.

Thomas asks…
Why are mobile phone adverts so wierd these days?
You get ads like the LG chocolate one, were a guy walks around a sepia old style town, and then goes back to modern day, but a mobile phone is surely designed for its functions, not for so that it can be sold as some sort of of fashion icon. Or what about those O2 adverts where a giant bubble wanders through towns, and we have close up shots of it magnifying objects – whats all that about? Doesn’t persuade me to use the network. The people in the ads are wierd too – they don’t even dress normal!

do guardian ad litems usually recommend 50/50 custody?
do guardian ad litems usually recommend 50/50 custody?
in a case where both parents love their kids but one parents home may be slightly bigger and more room and less cluttered and has safety gates cabinet latches and all that stuff. that parent and spouse have 2 cars pay their bills on time , no government assistance and in general are financially stable and have a pretty good family support network that the kids see grandparents and such with
then the other parent currently has custody but they have a small single wide mobile home for 2 adults and 4 kids, a cluttered house (not dirty with food everywhere just lots of junk) continues to get cars repossessed, has had elec turned off, eviction notice for not paying rent, gets food donations from church since cant afford food at times has phone and cable turned off cause cant pay bill. also don’t take kids to dr cause they cant pay the co-pmt for the visit or for medications nor if they don’t have a car at the time cant get there. also have lied to other parent saying they took child to dr when child was ill but medical records prove that they never did take the child to the dr like they said. and 2 year old had cavities and knew knew but didn’t get them fixed while on medicaid ( free to fix) and when the child was almost 5 child complains about teeth parent still wont take them since now child is on other parents insurance so would have co pmts they cant afford. and when gets notice saying they are being taken to court for child custody they finally take child to dentist and dentist says child now has 3 cavities and no signs of previous dental work so that is proof they never took care of previous cavities when child was 2. and parent recently had a transplant is on disability.
in neither house is there any drugs, smoking or alcohol, don’t think kids are being beaten but get a little more physical discipline than they should but one child has said they get hit in mouth if they say something bad with the parent that cant pay the bills.
would you think a guardian ad litem would recommend 50/50 custody?
I know they are there for what is best for the kids and it is usually best to spend equal time with both parents so would they recommend this in this situation
first off im not the one doing the robbing im the one being robbed. and im the one that has recomended mediation to come to a mutual agreement but other parent just says they should be with them and me only every other weekend. i want my kids to have both parents and step parents that care about them not just care about hurting parents feeligns
that is actually what i am requesting is them get everyother weekend, shared holidays and i even added easter adn 4th july so its fare since one parent usually has that holiday fall during their time and the other never gets kids for that holiday. and they get atleast a month in the summer and every friday evening
well I live in a mobile home just a larger one so im not dissing him for that.
the transplant is not why he cant afford anything sicne well before the transplant he kept quiting jobs and refused to work cause he didnt make enough money. and i think i am being quite nice seeing as i was 15 and he 24 when i got pregnant and he was a adult that should have know better than to take sexual advantage of a troubled teen.
the kids are happy kids and knwo both parents and step parents love them but they dont like it that their dad just lays in bed playing video games all the time and will not play with them or take them to the park when he is a stay at home dad.
RESPONSIBLE PARENT WOULD SEEK MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE WHEN NEEDED EVEN IF THEY HAD TO EAT OUT LESS TO PAY FOR IT. SORRY BUT MEDICAL NEGLECT IS NOT BEING A LOVING PARENT WHEN YOUR CHILD IS CRYING FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT WITH A PAINFUL EAR INFECTION AND YOU DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. !!!
SORRY BUT HIS $150 A MONTH IN DISABILITY FOR THE KIDS ENDS THIS MONTH THAT IS PART OF THE REASON IM TRYING OT GET THE KIDS SINCE HE HAS NO MORE DISABILITY AND WILL NOT EVEN START TO LOOK FOR A JOB. HOW WILL HE PROVIDE FOOD FOR THE KIDS SITTING ON HIS BUTT PLAYING VIDEO GAMES.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
Being Perfection is not what makes the difference…nor do dishes in the sink or an unmade bed, simple scatter or modest living quarters, and a disability equal a less fit parent. Next you’ll be throwing in their credit scores and ability to decorate, and the fact their socks don’t match…..wow.
The guardian ad litem looks at how the children are cared for, how they are treated, how they feel in the company of their parents. Why are you willing to rob a child of time spent with a beloved parent? Thinking of yourself?
No reason why legal custody can’t be 50/50 with one parent the custodial (because of the school year), and the other with a very generous visitation schedual (weekends, summers and share the holidays).

what should i offer?
I have a three month old nokia N95, on the t-mobile network. its perfect as new condition, no scratches or marks, been kept in one of those crystal hard cases since bought. its locked to t-mobile.
comes boxed with everything that came with it, plus a 2 gig memory card.
I want to swap it for a nokia n82.
when i write my ad, do i just offer a straight swap, or do i offer a bit of cash too since the n82 is a newer phone.?
thanks.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
I would say just swap. If they ask for money with the swap then you should agree on somethng that is reasonable. That would be beta as you could win both ways.

How to (re)use ADSL WLAN router for Internet sharing using 3G/UMTS HSDPA (USB) Modem?
I have an old ADSL WLAN router (Allied Telesyn AT-ARW256E) which I used previously when I was using ADSL Internet Connection.
However lately I shifted to 3G/HSDPA Mobile Broadband Internet, and connect my Win XP Desktop PC directly with a USB HSDPA Modem. I want to share this 3G Internet Connection from my Desktop with my Notebook and VoIP gateway using Windows ICS.
Is there any way I can re-use my old ADSL WLAN router to share Internet, both via ethernet ports and WLAN?
So far I can’t make it work, however when I use a LAN switch instead of ADSL WLAN router, I can share Internet.
Please help me to tell how I can re-use my ADSL WLAN router as I want to access Internet on other devices not only using ethernet ports but also via WLAN.
Thanks a lot !

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
ICS is a routing protocol, so you want to turn off DHCP in the router and connect the router to the computer doing ICS by one of the router’s LAN (not WAN) jacks.

Alana asks…
Do you have to purchase a new modem when your Wireless provider ups the speed?
When a Wireless Telecom Provider e.g. T-Mobile upgrades to a higher speed protocol e.g. HSDPA+ from HSDPA, do you have to get a new modem or is it the case where a firmware update will be issued by the telecoms provider so that the user can download it and upgrade to the new speed, as is the case with ADSL, Cable modems and Fiber Optic services?

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
The modem supplied is fine. You can only receive at the speed that your provider supplies and the hardware allows. Ask your provider if the current modem you have can receive the improved speeds.

Steve asks…
What’s the difference between a WiFi modem and a USB modem?
I live in a rural area and unfortunately can’t get ADSL or cable broadband, so I’ve been looking into mobile broadband. I have seen two deals I’m equally interested in (providing it’s available for my area), same price, same data, the only difference being one is a WiFi modem and one is a USB modem… is there actually a difference? If so, what are the differences, and which would you recommend?

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
A USB mobile broadband device can be connected to one computer via the USB port. You’ll get broadband Internet on that one computer.
A WiFi mobile device such as the MiFi can broadcast a WiFi signal, Most will allow up to 5 wireless enabled devices to connect, such as laptops, cell phones, iPods, computers with wireless adapters, etc.
So your answer would depend on what you want to connect to your mobile device, one computer or several different devices including devices other than computers with USB ports.
Good Luck

Is it worth having wireless internet and a VOIP phone?
I have wireless internet and wanted to get a voip phone therefore eliminating any line rental costs. I can’t seem to find the most effective solution. The wireless also doesn’t allow nearly as much download either. Should i just swap back to ADSL+ and get a voip phone?
(I don’t make very many calls, if any they are long distance) it is mainly so people don’t have to call my mobile as it costs them a lot more too.

OZ MOBILE AD answers:
For good VoIP service, you also need a good reliable High-Speed Internet connection. Whatever Internet service you are using should have at least 250Kbps “upload” speed. Upload speed is always less than your download speed. So, if you think your download speed isn’t sufficient, then your upload may not be either. VoIP can’t tolerate any Internet drop-outs while talking. So, a good Internet connection is vital to good VoIP service. It doesn’t matter who the VoIP provider is, if you don’t have good Internet, you won’t have good VoIP.
For long distance phone calling, VoIP will always save you money over landline. But, just remember, you need to have 911 backup. Any loss of AC power or Internet connection also means no VoIP service and thus no 911. So, at the very least have a cell phone for 911 backup. Or even basic landline service (no extras or long distance).
Any Internet based phone service is considered VoIP. Even Skype. Just remember that Skype does not have 911 access.
I use VoIP as my main phone calling service. But, unfortunately I also maintain “basic” landline phone only for 911 backup. The telco’s have us over a barrel when it comes to 911.

Jane asks…
WIth regards to phone hacking in the news: Why don’t the police investigate workers at the telecoms companies?
Do the police detectives not realise that they should be really trying to find out who the people are responsible from within the mobile phone networks responsible for handing over recordings and information.
Anyone knows journalists have no technical skills – and so they either contact insiders within the telecom companies – or are approached by them. Obviously money is exchanged in return for the recordings/data.
Or is it that certain unscrupulous individuals from within police departments who have access to telecommunication networks are the culprits for leaking data to journalists?
It has been reported that the UK police and security services have the following additional capabilities on mobile telephones, provided by telephone operators, but not covered by the voluntary code.
1. The capability to record to the content of selected conversations.
2. The capability to determine the location[6] of a mobile telephone to within a few yards by using triangulation and multiple base stations.
3. The capability to remotely activate the microphones of some mobile telephones. The UK Financial Times of the 2nd August 2005 [page 4 of the UK edition] reported that the UK police can ask mobile phone operators to download special spying software to a mobile telephone without the user’s knowledge or permission. When this has been done the authorities can turn on the microphone of a mobile telephone and listen to any conversations in its vicinity. This capability only exists for mobile telephones which can accept downloaded software. The telephone must be turned on for the microphone to be activated, but the user does not have to be making a call.

Reporters use their mobile phones a lot & that includes retrieving their Voice Mails by dialing in and entering a simple 4 digit code number … I would agree that they are too dumb to work out how to change their own ‘default’ PIN code = but then so are MP’s, and I bet you can ‘hack’ most voice mail by typing in 1234 ..
